PLEASE HELP SUPPORT OUR NEXT GENERATION GARDNERS

*GREEN GUERILLAS YOUTH EMPOWERED PIPELINE (YEP)*

Youth Intern Program.png

Green Guerillas is asking community garden to help support their Youth Empowerment Pipeline Program (YEP).

The Youth Empowerment Pipeline (YEP) is a youth-driven training program that creates a viable pathway to employment and leadership within the food justice movement. The YEP bridges the experience gap for young New Yorkers ages 17-21, providing critical resources, mentorship and paid internships.

Green Guerillas want to encourage intergenerational learning spaces for youth and community gardeners so that they can learn the history behind community gardening, the people power that maintain its presence and the value of such space. We hope with this intentional program, community gardeners are able to gain intergenerational bonds with youth, dedicated youth-based support and appreciation for their years’ of work.
